What to Do If Water Has Already Entered the BiPAP Machine

If you suspect water has leaked inside the BiPAP machine:


  • Turn off and unplug the device immediately.

  • Remove the humidifier chamber and dry the exterior.

  • Place the machine in a dry, warm area to allow internal moisture to evaporate.

  • Do not use a hairdryer or heat source directly on the machine, as this can cause further damage.

  • Contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for inspection and repair.


Using the machine while wet can cause electrical hazards and worsen damage.
